This free event is taking place at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater UC Hamilton Room on October 4th from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. It’s the perfect way to set the mood for Halloween without spending a dime!

Skelly’s Farmers Market

For something less spooky, but just as fun take a trip to Skelly’s Farmers Market in Janesville. They don’t offer any haunted attractions, but they still offer plenty of fall fun! With four hiking trails throughout the 122-acre park, you can pack a lunch and stay the day. Bring a book, go birdwatching, or simply take in the silence of this beloved local park.

Spirit Tour

If local history with an eerie edge is up your alley, this event is for you. The guided Spirit Tour begins at The Fuzzy Pig where you can enjoy appetizers while listening to a short presentation of Whitewater’s spiritualism presence. Then it will be time to board the bus and to head off to different paranormal points around the city. Hop off the bus to explore sites like the crypt of self-proclaimed witch Mary Worth and the burial site of spiritualism leader Morris Pratt. This ghostly tour runs October 12th and 13th and check-in begins at 5 pm.
